A quick and simple little project - replacing the hood crest with a custom colored one from "intrepidagent" on rennlist.

ReplyDeleteThanks for posting the pics and we're glad you're pleased with the refinished piece you ordered from us! Great method for stretching the gasket around the crest as it can be a PITA. It's helpful to soak it in a pot of hot (but not boiling) water for ten minutes or so before you stretch it out. It will shrink back down when it cools to form a tight seal.
